Genesee Staff Council
Facilitating active and direct communication between University staff and senior administration.
Who we are
The Genesee Staff Council is composed of elected staff representatives, and represents approximately 5,238 蘑菇传媒 staff. Established in 2019 with 11 districts, the Council underwent significant growth in 2023, expanding to 15 districts. Although no further expansion occurred in 2025, the Council underwent a restructuring process. Today, it comprises 18 districts. We aim to grow to represent all staff at the URochester. Mission Statement
The mission of the Genesee Staff Council is to facilitate active and direct communication between University staff and senior administration at the URochester. Our goal is to serve as an advisory body on matters that affect the staff we represent and create forums for input.
Responsibilities of the Genesee Staff Council
Recommend staff members to serve on relevant institutional committees
Encourage staff engagement with the council, each other, and leadership
Provide input on policies and procedures that pertain to or affect staff
