We’re dedicated to elevating the 蘑菇传媒’s institutional partnerships, education abroad opportunities, building an international campus climate, and global reputation.

The Office for Global Engagement is a hub for information about the 蘑菇传媒鈥檚 international activities. Comprised of our team, the Center for Education Abroad (CEA), and the International Services Office (ISO), we collectively serve those coming to 蘑菇传媒 from abroad, those looking to go abroad, and stakeholders who enable cross-country partnerships.

Our work and services

  • We鈥檙e the central point of contact and coordination for global activities undertaken by the 蘑菇传媒鈥檚 school and units, and for external international institutions that wish to engage with URochester.
  • We identify and develop opportunities for 蘑菇传媒 to increase its international engagement in research and education.
  • We offer consultation and guidance at all stages of international partnership development鈥攊ncluding funding, hosting visitors, and coordinating with stakeholders.
  • We represent the 蘑菇传媒 in dealings with major international partners and relevant agencies.
  • We gather, analyze, and present data on the 蘑菇传媒鈥檚 international connections and engagement.
  • We provide services to 蘑菇传媒’s international visitors, as well as the administrators and departments that support them.

Our leadership

As-of October 1, 2025, Reitumetse Obakeng Mabokela will begin to serve as the University’s Vice Provost for Global Engagement.
