Overview

The Ä¢¹½´«Ã½ is committed to being a community that welcomes all students regardless of their sex, race, color, national origin, or religion. We will pursue approaches to cultivating inclusivity and a sense of belonging among our community members.

Any member of the Ä¢¹½´«Ã½ community can submit a bias report if they know of an incident or conduct which may constitute discrimination or harassment that involves a student.

A bias incident is characterized as a behavior or act—verbal, written, or physical—which is personally directed against or targets an individual or group based on a protected characteristic.

Behavior reflecting bias may constitute a violation of the Student Code of Conduct.

Reports are reviewed by a staff member in the who triages the reports to the director of the Paul J. Burgett Intercultural Center. Reports may also be sent to the Title IX Office (if it's a sexual misconduct incident) or to the Equal Opportunity Investigators (if the incident involves a University employee). The appropriate person will contact the individuals involved in the report, coordinate a response, and communicate with the University community (when appropriate).
