The State of Publishing
Although the actual event took place last fall, pointed out that the Virginia Quarterly Review now has a online of “The Business of the Book” panel that was part of LWC}NYC.
This event featured four major publishing figures (Jonathan Burhnam, publisher of HarperCollins; Morgan Entrekin, president and publisher of Grove/Atlantic; Jonathan Galassi, president and publisher of Farrar, Straus and Giroux; and Sonny Mehta, president and editor-in-chief of Alfred A. Knopf) talking about the state of the industry.
The conversation is very interesting and insightful, and definitely worth checking out.
