Dr. Alam, an alumnus of the URochester, received his Ph.D. in Electrical and Computer Engineering under the supervision of Through this three-year project, the team will develop elastography and ultrasound tissue characterization techniques to detect and monitor breast lesions with the ultimate objective of developing a reliable, clinically practical method of identifying benign breast lesions.
