With around 1,000 individuals involved in its program, the continued investment in the Laboratory for Laser Energetics preserves its status as a unique national resource for research and education in science and technology and a major driver of New York&#8217;s high-tech economy. I want to particularly thank Senator Schumer, Senator Gillibrand, Congresswoman Slaughter, and Congressman Reed and Collins for their efforts. &#8221;<\/p>\n<p>For more information about the funding,
