Making the move from military service to college life can be challenging.<\/p>\n

\u201cThe military is a structured, team-based environment where every moment is planned out,\u201d says Adam Mitchell \u201919, a brain and cognitive sciences major who spent five years in the Marines. \u201cCollege life is very broad and independent. The transition can be overwhelming.\u201d<\/p>\n

The Ä¢¹½´«Ã½ is committed to making sure veterans stay on course during their time in college.<\/p>\n

\u201cEveryone wants our veteran students to succeed, and liaisons have been established across campus to make it possible,\u201d says Pat Toporzycki, director of the University\u2019s Veterans and Family Services Office<\/a>. \u201cMany veterans come through a nontraditional path and may need additional guidance. Others just need to know we are here for them.\u201d<\/p>\n
