Tuition for the Eastman School of Music will also increase 3.8 percent to $49,600.<\/p>\n
More than 86 percent of University undergraduates receive some form of financial aid. The average amount of grant aid in 2015-16 was $28,344.<\/p>\n
\u201cWe very carefully evaluate each year to how to strike the best balance between our costs to students and having the ability to do the things that make our University even stronger. We want to continue to provide students and families the strongest return on their investment in education, while keeping the highly valued Rochester degree accessible and affordable,\u201d said University President and CEO Joel Seligman.<\/p>\n
\u201cProviding needed financial assistance to students is an institutional priority, evident through our fundraising emphasis on scholarships in the Meliora Challenge<\/em> capital campaign.
