WHAT:<\/strong> An international Thanksgiving on the Ä¢¹½´«Ã½\u2019s River Campus<\/p>\n

WHEN\/WHERE:<\/strong> Monday, Nov. 16 from 6-8 p.m.<\/p>\n

THE EVENT:<\/strong> For the fourth consecutive year, the Sigma Delta Tau sorority and the Sigma Phi Epsilon fraternity will collaborate on a Thanksgiving meal for international students who take the CAS 170 course. The course focuses on American life and culture. The American students teach the international students about the origins of our national holiday while also preparing a full Thanksgiving dinner and then dining with their fellow students. There will be about 40 students in attendance.<\/p>\n

THE MENU:<\/strong> organic heritage turkey with rosemary stuffing and turkey gravy; whipped potatoes and sweet potatoes with bourbon vanilla; seasoned green beans; roasted butternut squash, spinach and craisins; cranberry orange relish; homemade pumpkin and apple pie; and apple cider.<\/p>\n

Each international student also will receive a small cookbook of traditional Thanksgiving meals, each selected from the sisters of Sigma Delta Tau\u2019s home recipes.<\/p>\n
