{"id":45982,"date":"2020-08-25T08:47:56","date_gmt":"2020-08-25T12:47:56","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/www.rochester.edu\/coronavirus-update\/?p=45982"},"modified":"2020-08-25T08:47:56","modified_gmt":"2020-08-25T12:47:56","slug":"spring-2021-semester-schedule","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.rochester.edu\/graduate-education\/spring-2021-semester-schedule\/","title":{"rendered":"Spring 2021 semester schedule"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>The dates for the start of the spring semester across the University have been set.<\/p>\n<p>For undergraduates and graduate students in <strong>Arts, Sciences &amp; Engineering<\/strong>, the <strong>Eastman School of Music<\/strong>, and for students in the <strong>Warner School of Education<\/strong>, spring semester classes will begin Monday, February 1, and end on May 7. Final exams will be completed by May 14. There will be no spring break.<\/p>\n<p>Students in other units will follow the academic calendars as originally scheduled for the semester:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li><a href=\"https:\/\/www.urmc.rochester.edu\/medialibraries\/urmcmedia\/education\/md\/documents\/academic-calendar.pdf\">School of Medicine and Dentistry (MD students)<\/a><\/li>\n<li><a href=\"https:\/\/www.urmc.rochester.edu\/education\/graduate\/current-students\/academic-calendar\/20-21-calendar.aspx\">School of Medicine and Dentistry (graduate students)<\/a><\/li>\n<li><a href=\"https:\/\/www.son.rochester.edu\/current-students\/academic-calendar.html\">School of Nursing<\/a><\/li>\n<li><a href=\"https:\/\/simon.rochester.edu\/registrar\/registrar\/academic-calendars\/index.aspx\">Simon Business School<\/a><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>Commencement ceremonies for all units are scheduled to take place May 21 to 23.<\/p>\n<p>The graduate programs in the medical school will work to accommodate students in AS&amp;E if they have classes in the School of Medicine and Dentistry this spring.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>The dates for the start of the spring semester across the University have been set.
