HECHMAT AND MARJORIE TABECHIAN*<\/strong><\/p>\n \u00a0[\/vc_column_text][\/vc_column][vc_column width=”3\/4″][vc_column_text]Inspired by a strong desire to support quality medical education and have a meaningful and lasting impact, Hechmat (Heshy) Tabechian, MD ’61M (MD), ’64M (Res) and Marjorie Tabechian ’60W have made an investment in the Medical Class of 1961 Endowed Scholarship by establishing a URochester Charitable Gift Annuity. Their gift provides\u00a0a stream of fixed income for life.<\/p>\n Additionally, Heshy and Marge made an outright gift of securities to establish the\u00a0Hechmat and Marjorie Tabechian Endowed Scholarship<\/em>. The Tabechian Endowed Scholarship<\/em>\u00a0was given in memory of Dr. Tabechian\u2019s parents\u00a0 and as a lasting legacy and tribute to their unyielding devotion to the University, the Medical Center, the community and the field of medicine.\u00a0 The Tabechian\u2019s take great pride knowing that their endowed scholarship will continue on; in perpetuity, supporting medical students as\u00a0Tabechian Scholars<\/em>\u00a0and helping launch their careers as physicians and scientists of the future.<\/p>\n Heshy notes, \u201cThe Medical Center is an important part of our lives.
