Tuition rates, financial aid set for 2026–27 academic year

Tuition for undergraduates for the 2026–27 school year will increase by 3.9 percent to $71,750; housing and food will increase 4.2 percent to $21,326. The University provides $150 million through merit- and need-based programs to undergraduates admitted to the School of Arts & Sciences, Hajim School of Engineering & Applied Sciences, and Simon Business School. An additional $23 million is made available for both merit- and need-based grants and scholarships to support undergraduate students at the Eastman School of Music.

On-campus help with jump starts and low tires

If you’re on a University campus having vehicle trouble, the Department of Transportation and Logistics is ready to lend a helping hand. The Vehicle Assistance Program provides free on-campus assistance to students, employees, and visitors who need help jump-starting a dead battery or inflating a low tire. Assistance is available 24 hours a day, 7 days a week, except between 11 p.m. and 7 a.m. on Friday and Saturday, by calling (585) 275-4524.
