Winter break housing deadline, dining remindersRiver Campus students choosing to remain on campus for part or all of winter break,聽December 19 through January 15,听蝉丑辞耻濒诲 产测听December 8; they will be charged a $400 fee to support the operation and maintenance of the residence halls. This fee will be added to student financial accounts in UR Student and will be due in January.
Financial support for the housing fee is available for students with demonstrated financial need (those currently receiving federal or institutional need-based assistance) and will be applied on a sliding scale based on the student鈥檚 level of need, ranging from 0 to 100 percent coverage of the $400 fee. Please contact your financial aid counselor if you have any questions about your level of aid.
Dining Services will have limited on-campus food venues available, operating with reduced hours.聽. Dining dollars from fall meal plans will continue to be active during the winter break period. Students will be responsible for food expenses during winter break and may add additional dining dollars to their accounts. Spring meal plans begin聽January 15.
Students with demonstrated financial need who may be facing food insecurity during winter break may request assistance through the聽Basic Needs Hub聽request form 产测听December 8聽and can also utilize the聽.
