The main event

The Ä¢¹½´«Ã½â€™s 176th Commencement Ceremony marks the conferral of academic degrees for all undergraduate and graduate students. The Commencement Ceremony kicks off a weekend full of events for graduates, their families and friends, faculty, and staff.
Celebrate Together

 Wilson Quadrangle, River Campus
Graduates, families, and friends are invited to come together and celebrate with great food and lasting memories. Enjoy a variety of offerings from local food trucks and Meliora Catering and capture the moment with professional group or individual photos at our dedicated photo station. Meliora Catering options available for pre-order using declining on GrubHub starting May 8 (also available for purchase day-of via credit card).

The all-University Commencement Ceremony is a large outdoor celebration for individuals set to earn a URochester degree. The individual school and department graduation ceremonies offer graduates the opportunity to be individually recognized for earning their particular degree; this is where graduates traditionally cross the stage and/or have their names read aloud.
