On June 14, 2025, the Beijing team of the China Parent Network Committee<\/a> (CPNC) hosted a special event, bringing together more than 40 parents, alumni, students, and incoming families to welcome new members of the Rochester community and celebrate this historic milestone.<\/p>\n

As a tribute to the University, the Beijing CPNC presented a gift to members of the University<\/a> on October 6, 2025. The piece entitled \u201cGreat Wall Hero Bamboo Slips\u201d embodies both cultural and historical significance, featuring the ancient Chinese writing medium of bamboo slips, engraved with Chairman Mao Zedong\u2019s poem Qing Ping Yue \u00b7 Liupan Mountain<\/em>.<\/p>\n

The gift symbolizes courage, heritage, and connection, values shared by both the Ä¢¹½´«Ã½ and its global community.<\/p>\n

In addition to the event atop the Great Wall, celebrations were held in Shanghai, Suzhou, Guangzhou, Hangzhou, Shenzhen, Jinan, Chengdu, and a second event in Beijing throughout the year, hosted by members of the CPNC.[\/vc_column_text][vc_empty_space height=”25px” image_repeat=”no-repeat”][\/vc_column][vc_column width=”1\/4″][vc_empty_space height=”25px” image_repeat=”no-repeat”][vc_column_text]<\/p>\n
