{"id":2136,"date":"2022-02-09T14:42:19","date_gmt":"2022-02-09T19:42:19","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/www.rochester.edu\/adminfinance\/urfinancials\/?page_id=2136"},"modified":"2024-07-01T09:42:14","modified_gmt":"2024-07-01T13:42:14","slug":"security-forms","status":"publish","type":"page","link":"https:\/\/www.rochester.edu\/adminfinance\/urfinancials\/security-forms\/","title":{"rendered":"Security Forms"},"content":{"rendered":"<h3><strong>Steps on how to request access:<\/strong><\/h3>\n<ol>\n<li>Workday Authorization Request application (UR Workday in-the-system menu apps)\n<ul>\n<li><strong><span style=\"color: #ffc70a;\">ALERT: <\/span>Effective July 1, 2024, <\/strong>we are extending our Authorization Request application in UR Workday for requesting or removing access for UR Financials. \u00a0UR Procurement was implemented on April 29<sup>th<\/sup>.\u00a0 Affiliated entities are out of scope and will be implemented at a later timeline. \u00a0Users will be able to view their Workday permissions, modify them as necessary for business requirements, and monitor the status of their requests. \u00a0The respective employee\u2019s manager will approve these requests within UR Workday and continue to follow the necessary business process approvals outlined by the Ä¢¹½´«Ã½\u2019s designated data stewards.\n<p style=\"padding-left: 40px;\">A <a href=\"https:\/\/tech.rochester.edu\/services\/ur-workday\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">user guide<\/a>, including examples and definitions, provides detailed instructions on using the Authorization Request application. Don\u2019t see the <a href=\"https:\/\/rochester.app.box.com\/s\/883dn09pozvsdxoro6eab5pn3ol1erir\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Need Help? button, download it here<\/a>.<\/p>\n<p style=\"padding-left: 40px;\">In addition, an instructional video and a P2P specific guide are available on the UR Procurement Website Security page:\u00a0 <a href=\"https:\/\/www.rochester.edu\/adminfinance\/urprocurement\/how-to-purchase\/p2p-security-form\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">https:\/\/www.rochester.edu\/adminfinance\/urprocurement\/how-to-purchase\/p2p-security-form\/<\/a><\/p>\n<p style=\"padding-left: 40px;\">Please contact the <a href=\"https:\/\/tech.rochester.edu\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">UNIVIT help desk<\/a> for assistance with the Authorization Request application in UR Workday.<\/p>\n<p>We will continue to use the link below for the existing authorization request process for Axiom, UR Financials Banking, and URGEMS via the existing web portal, the Ä¢¹½´«Ã½ Security Request Form.\u00a0 However, any Workday requests for UR Financials and UR Procurement please redirected to the new application in UR Workday.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/li>\n<li>Select the <a href=\"http:\/\/www.rochester.edu\/adminfinance\/urfinancials_permission_form\/\">Ä¢¹½´«Ã½ Security Request Form <\/a>link for Axiom, UR Financials Banking, and URGEMS and enter your Active Directory username and password.\u00a0 <span style=\"color: #ffc70a;\">Please redirect to the new application in UR Workday for UR Financials and UR Procurement Workday authorization requests<\/span>.\n<ol>\n<li>Complete the form and choose the PRINT option at the bottom of the form<\/li>\n<li>This form needs to be signed by your manager.
