Admittedly, neither of them know much about contemporary poetry, but they do try their best when talking about Parian and how to approach her collection. <em>On the Edge<\/em> plays to both of them though, with it&#8217;s bleak, despairing outlook on life, and the way it sort of wallows in tragedy. <\/p>\n<p>Tom also wants all listeners to know that he and Chad <span class=\"caps\">DID<\/span> <span class=\"caps\">NOT<\/span> <a href=\"https:\/\/www.youtube.com\/channel\/UCjdyLWDG47OTAVlrt97lLYg\">record the podcast shirtless.<\/a><\/p>\n<p>There should be a regular, rambling podcast up in between this one an the next <span class=\"caps\">RTWBC<\/span>-centric one, but either way, the two books they&#8217;re reading in March are <a href=\"https:\/\/www.rochester.edu\/College\/translation\/threepercent\/index.php?id=16882\"><em>The Vegetarian<\/em><\/a> by Han Kang, translated from the Korean by Deborah Smith (Crown), and <a href=\"https:\/\/www.rochester.edu\/College\/translation\/threepercent\/index.php?id=16892\"><em>Diorama<\/em><\/a> by Roc\u00edo Cer\u00f3n, translated from the Spanish by Anna Rosenwong (Phoneme Media).
