Putting together the introduction for Susan Bernofsky is kind of intense . . . She’s accomplished so much and has so many things going on, including her involvement with the MFA<\/span> program in Literary Translation at Queens College—a unique translation program that some of you (potential students? others?) might be interested in.<\/p>\n

The program has only been around for four years, but with Susan and Roger Sederat teaching there, it’s a pretty impressive beginning. And a very cool program that’s rooted in the creative aspect to translating. <\/p>\n

But we have a bit of a different focus. And the more the better when it comes to literary translation programs and training young translators. Go Queens for starting something innovative and necessary!)<\/p>\n
