{"id":276796,"date":"2010-02-24T18:20:30","date_gmt":"2010-02-24T18:20:30","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/www.wdev.rochester.edu\/College\/translation\/threepercent-dev\/2010\/02\/24\/3-quarks-arts-and-literature-prizes\/"},"modified":"2018-04-16T16:41:04","modified_gmt":"2018-04-16T16:41:04","slug":"3-quarks-arts-and-literature-prizes","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.rochester.edu\/College\/translation\/threepercent\/2010\/02\/24\/3-quarks-arts-and-literature-prizes\/","title":{"rendered":"3 Quarks Arts and Literature Prizes"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>I&#8217;m somewhat embarrassed even writing this, but if there&#8217;s one prize I would love to considered for it&#8217;s the <a href=\"http:\/\/www.3quarksdaily.com\/3quarksdaily\/2010\/02\/3-quarks-daily-prize-in-arts-literature.html\">3 Quarks Arts and Literature Prize.<\/a> (Which is sort of a lie&#8212;someday I want to do something worthy enough of the <span class=\"caps\">NBF<\/span>&#8217;s <a href=\"http:\/\/www.nationalbook.org\/innovations_in_reading.html\">Innovations in Reading<\/a> prize.)<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"http:\/\/www.3quarksdaily.com\/\">3 Quarks Daily<\/a> is easily one of the best blogs out there, and the prizes that they started are fantastic. Here are the winners of the awards for <a href=\"http:\/\/www.3quarksdaily.com\/3quarksdaily\/2009\/06\/the-winners-of-the-3-quarks-daily-2009-prize-in-science.html\">Science,<\/a> <a href=\"http:\/\/www.3quarksdaily.com\/3quarksdaily\/2009\/09\/the-winners-of-the-3-quarks-daily-2009-prize-in-philosophy.html\">Philosophy,<\/a> and <a href=\"http:\/\/www.3quarksdaily.com\/3quarksdaily\/2009\/12\/the-winners-of-the-3-quarks-daily-2009-prize-in-politics.html\">Politics.<\/a><\/p>\n<p>I don&#8217;t honestly think I have a chance of winning this, but I&#8217;d love to be nominated . . . And there&#8217;s no way in hell I&#8217;ll nominate myself. So if anyone feels so inclined, I&#8217;ll be indebted to you for life.
