The Kindle will be priced at $400 to $500 and will wirelessly connect to an e-book store on Amazon\u2019s site.<\/p>\n<\/blockquote>\n<p>I have no faith in Amazon&#8217;s ability to create a device that will convince people to spend &#8216;$400 to $500&#8217;, nor in their ability to craft a device, or user interface, that would be useful to anyone. And they&#8217;re locking down their e-books in a proprietary format.
